About this policy

Dupack (we, us or our) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use this website or contact us. Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies to us, we handle personal information in line with the applicable Australian Privacy Principles.

Information we collect

If you send an enquiry through our website, we collect the information you provide: your name, company, email address, phone number, packaging requirement, quantity or volume, required delivery date and message. Name, email and message are required fields. Please avoid including sensitive information in your message unless it is needed to respond.

If you contact us another way, we collect the information you choose to provide. Our website platform and hosting services may also process technical information such as browser and device details, pages requested, IP address, timestamps and error or security logs.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and prepare quotes;
  • discuss and provide our labelling, packaging, printing and related services;
  • maintain business records and meet legal obligations; and
  • protect, maintain and troubleshoot our website and systems.

We do not sell personal information. We use enquiry details to respond to your request and related business communications, not for unrelated marketing.

How information is stored and shared

Website enquiries are sent by email to info@dupack.com.au through our email delivery services. The enquiry form does not save submissions in Supabase. We may retain an email copy so we can respond and manage the business relationship. Information may be handled by service providers that support our website, hosting, email delivery, security and technical diagnostics. These currently include Lovable, Resend and infrastructure providers.

We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law, or when reasonably needed to protect our rights, systems or users. We do not disclose enquiry information to third parties for their own marketing.

Overseas processing

Some service providers may process or store information outside Australia. The countries involved can depend on the provider and its current infrastructure, so we cannot represent that all information is stored in Australia. Contact us if you would like further information about the providers used for a particular service.

Cookies and local storage

This website stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser. Our website, hosting or security services may also use essential storage or technical logs to operate and protect the site. You can manage browser storage and cookie settings through your browser.

Keeping information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, manage related business records and meet legal requirements. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, where appropriate.

Access and correction

You can ask us for access to personal information we hold about you or request a correction by emailing info@dupack.com.au. Please describe the information you are asking about. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Privacy concerns

If you have a privacy concern or complaint, email info@dupack.com.au with details of what happened and how you would like us to address it. We will acknowledge your complaint and aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, or do not receive one, you may be able to raise the matter with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
